NEW POST: Moving to FeedSync 1.0 spec

With the release of the 1.0 version of SSE (now known as FeedSync) http://www.feedsync.org the SSE Codeplex project should think about if and how to migrate to the new spec and namespace.

Issues include

- code migration
- where on codeplex to host the project (/feedsync is already held by an older project)

I've just finished one that shows the user perspective of setting up an adapter and using the job manager. Still need the developer perspective tho.

Good feedback Ed.
Right now, there's just a sample application that provides a custom adapter to a customer database.

I agree having a camtasia video would be great. A quickstart document too. I'll see if we can reach v1 sooner than later first, though ;) (add support for Atom, etc).
But we'll get there, sure.

Thanks Jack! My compliments to your team and the SSE authors for putting together an innovative specification that I'm sure will have a great impact in our lives.

We're working on launching the http://simplesharing.net (and .org) sites which we expect to become a central hub for SSE enthusiasts, implementers and users. I believe SSE is the best kept "secret" of web 2.5 :). Let's share the secret with the world!!!

I'd love to have it super simple to do adapters- how about a camtasia or a quick vid on how to build one? Does the code come with a quickstart?
